Corbett National Park boasts of a rich natural heritage with its varied topography, diverse flora and fauna, the beauty of the meandering ramganga river and the splendour of its landscapes. The elusive Tiger, now the cynosure of every tourists questing eye, wild Elephants and Leopards are the main attractions, besides other mammal and bird species. One of the few national parks in India with basic lodging facilities in the heart of the jungle at Dhikala - the setting is awesome and the location picturesque. For the wildlife enthusiast there is no alternative but to stay inside the Parkat Dhikala Forest Lodge. This lodge is managed by the forest department who are unable to provide a professional standard of service - this is our forte - we at TIGERLAND SAFARIS & TOURS are fully adept in providing luxury in the wilds. The Elephant ride from Dhikala is the ultimate experience in wildlife viewing and provides the opportunity to shoot the tiger with a camera. Corbett natinal Park with over 600 different bird species is considered one of the true bird parks of the world. Raptors are of infinite variety and occasssionally species of hawks and eagles appear, which tax the talent of the most gifted ornithologists. The Park is avid birdwatchers destination, Mangoli valley, Nainital and Pangot in the Kumaon region are unmistakeably the most remarkable areas for higher himalayan birds.

LOCATION
Situated on the outskirts of CORBETT NATIONAL PARK in the Kumaon region, 08 kms from Ramnagar. Tiger Camp is a delightful place, set in a mango orchard and is surrounded by small terraced farms. We are an Eco friendly resort and put in a great effort into personalised service.

ABOUT
TIGER CAMP is a "value for money" resort and has four AC rooms in villa style block, six standard AC Cottages in a Kumaoni village concept, ten new luxurious AC deluxe Cottages. It provides hot & cold running water, has electricity, telephones in rooms, back up generator, all meals served as buffet in the Gole Ghar and other modern facilities, yet it gives a sense of wilderness. We have our own fleet of Gypsys and trained nature guides who accompany the guests on the Jeep Safaris and escort them for the nature walks.

SIGHT SEEING AND ADVENTURE
In addition to the above mentioned activities a day trip to the famous Hill station Nainital, Ranikhet or Corbett Falls is possible and also a visit to the nationally famous Garjia Devi Temple. For the adventure oriented rock climbing, rappelling & river crossing activities are also arranged. Tiger Camp (Corbett National Park) is located 275 km away from Delhi; 7 km from Ramnagar & 80 km from Kathgodam railway station, this resort offers 10 Deluxe rooms & cottages, 10 standard rooms & cottages, all well furnished and air-conditioned. A well equipped 'gol ghar' offers Indian, Chinese and Continental cuisine. The lodge offers various 'natural history' activities and is fully geared to handle your wildlife tours in the park.

Safari charges: Safaris into the jungle are conducted by nature guides in open 4WD to Bijrani range forest, Jhirna, Lohachaur. The duration of safari is about three to four hours and is conducted early morning or in the afternoon till sunset. Each jeep can seat upto four persons comfortably. Besides the visitors, the jeep has an expert driver and a nature guide.
Cost per jeep per safari: Rs.1000 in Bijrani Range Forest. The rates of: park guide Rs. 175; vehicle road fee Rs. 100; entrance fee of the driver Rs. 30. Additional charge of Rs. 200 per safari for Jhirna and Sitabani. Entrance fee of passengers: Rs.200 per foreign national and Rs.30 per Indian national per safari. Elephant ride on 'first come first served' basis on direct payment. Service tax on the bill is 4.9% additional. Pre-booking of morning safaris is entertained at an additional cost of Rs. 150 per jeep.

TERMS & CONDITIONS
" All tariffs are on per night basis and are in Indian rupees. 5% Tax extra.
" Extra bed for a child between 5-12 years of age will be charged 25% of the room cost (to be paid at the resort).
" Extra bed for a person above 12 years of age will be charged 35% of the room cost (to be paid at the resort).
" Rates subject to change without notice.
" To & fro transportation can be arranged at an extra cost.
" Group rates will be given on request

PAYMENT TERMS
An advance of 100% is required. All payments to be made in favour of M/S Tiger Camp payable at New Delhi.

CANCELLATION FOR ALL TARIFFS & PACKAGES
Less than 15 days before the arrival date - no refund
Less than 20 days before the arrival date - 60% refund
Less than 25 days before the arrival date - 75% refund
No refund in case of road block, accident, no show etc.

HOW TO REACH TIGER CAMP, Corbett National Park
To get to Tiger Camp, one can take any of the following options:
" Drive from Delhi via Moradabad, Kashipur and Ramnagar: 6 hours
" Overnight air-conditioned train # 5311 from Mathura Jn. railway station (departing at 2315 hr.) to Lal Kuan (arriving at 0845 hr.) and then 2½ hr. drive via Kaladungi.
" Overnight air-conditioned train # 5013 from Old Delhi railway station (departing at 2245 hr.) to Kathgodam (arriving at 0615 hr.) and then 2 hr. drive via Kaladungi.
" Overnight air-conditioned train # 5013A from Old Delhi railway station (departing at 2245 hr.) to Ramnagar (arriving at 0500 hr.) and then ¼ hr. drive to Tiger Camp.
