Corbett Safari Tour

Corbett Safari Tour
  • Jim Corbett National Park

    From ₹ 2,500 / person

    Duration 2N / 3D

A Corbett Safari Tour typically spans 2–3 days, offering an immersive wildlife experience in Jim Corbett National Park, India’s oldest tiger reserve. Visitors usually arrive at Ramnagar, check into a lodge or forest resort, and embark on early morning and evening jeep or canter safaris to spot tigers, elephants, deer, and a variety of birds in their natural habitat. The tour combines thrilling wildlife excursions with leisure time at the resort, meals, and guided nature walks, while staying in zones like Dhikala or Jhirna for a close-to-nature experience. Safaris are guided by experts, and the itinerary balances adventure with relaxation, making it ideal for wildlife enthusiasts and nature lovers alike.

    Itinerary (02 Nights / 03 Days)

    Day 1 : Arrival & Leisure

    • Arrive at Ramnagar (railway station or from Haldwani by road) and transfer to your accommodation (a wildlife‑resort or lodge near the park).
    • Check‑in, freshen up, lunch. In the afternoon you might have time for a light local outing (temple, museum) or simply relax at the resort.
    • In the evening : Depending on the package you choose, you may go for your first safari (some packages offer evening safari on Day1) or just enjoy resort amenities (pool, nature walk, bonfire) and dinner.
    • Overnight stay at the resort.
    What to Note
    • Arrive in good time so you aren’t rushed.
    • Safari bookings must be done early (zones, permits, vehicle availability).
    • Check if your accommodation is inside the park or just outside – staying inside (e.g., in the forest lodge) gives different experience (and likely early morning ride).
    • Pack comfortable clothes, insect repellent, binoculars, camera, good shoes.

Day 2 : Full Safari Day

    • Early morning wake‑up (often around 5:30‑6:00 am) for a morning safari in one of the park’s zones (jeep or canter safari) when animal activity is highest. For example, many tours use the morning for safari into the core zone.
    • After safari, return for breakfast, relax. Possibly a nature walk in resort area, or simply enjoy surroundings.
    • Lunch at resort.
    • In the afternoon or evening : Another safari (depending on your package). Some packages include 2 safaris this day (morning + evening) or a special zone like the Dhikala Zone which is highly recommended for wildlife sightings.
    • Dinner and overnight stay at resort.
    What to Expect
    • The jeep safari is an open‑jeep drive through the forest roads in designated zones. You’ll look for tigers (though sightings are not guaranteed), elephants, deer, birds.
    • The canter safari (in some zones) is a larger open‑vehicle (often for groups) and may give a different vantage.
    • Weather : early morning may be chilly; carry layers.
    • Good light for photography is early morning and late afternoon.

    Day 3 : Morning Safari + Departure

    • Early morning again: one final safari (often in the morning) before breakfast. Some packages schedule one last ride then check‑out.
    • After safari, breakfast, check‑out from resort. Transfer back to Ramnagar (or onward destination, e.g., Haldwani) with memories of the park.
    • The tour ends.
